Optional analytics on this site
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are configured for this website. Optional measurement stays off until you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not change your access to any guide.
Google Analytics helps us understand page visits and two interactions: copying a code example and opening an official resource. Our integration does not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals.
Microsoft Clarity can provide heatmaps and session recordings of page interactions. We request text masking before loading its tag and keep advertising consent off. Session replay is not a private workspace.
When accepted, these services may process browser, device, and network information and set analytics cookies. A configured tag does not guarantee that every visit is recorded; browser settings and blocking tools can prevent collection.
Choose or change your preference
Use Cookie preferences in the footer to review your choice. When optional analytics are enabled, the panel offers both acceptance and rejection. We respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping optional analytics off.
A choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days when browser storage is available. If storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current page and may be requested again on a later page. Withdrawing consent stops future collection and reloads the page; it does not delete data already received by a provider.
What our event tracking includes
Our custom events do not include copied code, form text, API keys, or user IDs. An official-resource click records only the destination hostname, not its complete URL.
Page URLs sent through our Google Analytics integration omit query strings and fragments. Referrers are reduced to their origin.
Clarity observes browser interactions and page structure independently of those custom events. We skip loading it when the initial page URL or referrer contains query parameters or fragments, but this is not a guarantee that every URL in native telemetry is redacted. Do not put confidential information in website URLs.
Hosting, fonts, and external links
Hosting and delivery may process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and the page requested, independently of optional analytics. Rejecting analytics does not stop the network requests needed to display a page.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which makes requests to Google when your browser displays those fonts. See Google’s privacy policy.
External links lead to separate services with their own policies. Jev Fieldguide does not operate TypeSafe accounts, process model payments, or issue API keys.
